Christopher Radko Christmas Ornaments

Find the perfect gift for he or she who already has everything. Seriously, we cataloged the kinds of gifts we'd been given over the last 10 Christmases because we dutifully write thank-you notes. And after going over the notebook, we realized there were 2 kinds of most appreciated gifts.

The first, almost always safe gift, is food. Ah, the gift of food. Not a chunk of meat, nor some everyday foodstuff. Rather, we've truly enjoyed artesanal holiday breads, festive Chrimstmas cheeses or dips, and the like. These kinds of consumable gifts, at least the better ones, really bring a quality of joy and celebration to the family gathering. We're always grateful.

The second category is totally the opposite: it's not at all consumable and lasts essentially forever. And that is the Christopher Radko Christmas Ornaments we've enjoyed, each one adding to the special ornament collection, yet each one creating a unique memory from a dear and cherished friend. We may very well be turning over a new leaf this year, because we don't want to give out of obligation, we want to create memorable Christmas gifts that our friends will actually enjoy.

So, I'm certainly not saying that only food and a Christopher ornament will do, but I am saying these two kinds of things have certainly become and are the most valuable and thoughtful gifts we've received, and I have no intention of being known as the giver of throw-away junk. I'm aiming at giving meaningfully this year. I'll give some Radko ornament gifts, and I'll give some delicious brie made from the milk on our local dairy, and past that -- who knows? I'm using this post to officially announce that I'm on a new kick, and I'm going to share what I find with all of you.
